We are set up to retrieve files from:
Macintosh & IBM formatted floppy disks, CD, CD-RW, & DVD. Electronic File Transfers are also available.

Programs we can access are:
Production computers are Macintosh compatible only. We can access files created by using Mac or IBM versions of the following programs: Multi-Ad Creator 4.0.5, Typestyler 3.0, Quark Xpress 5.0, Adobe Illustrator 10.0, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 & 7.0, Adobe Acrobat 3/4.0 PDF’s.
(We CANNOT accept ads produced in any other programs.)
Art Work
Clean, original art will reproduce best. Do not draw on, write on, highlight on or staple through art to be used. If specific instructions are needed, we suggest photocopying the piece and marking up the copy instead. If halftones are needed, original photos are highly recommended. If halftones are provided, they need to be between 85 and 100 line screen to reproduce well on newsprint. When providing color ads, please send logos and line art in a TIFF format. Color art and photos need to be in TIFF, EPS or JPEG formats. (JPEG photos need to be set to maximum quality.) Digital Camera photos need to be provided in the ORIGINAL, UNALTERED camera format. Please provide these files as certain criteria needs to be met for newspaper printing. We CANNOT accept any other file formats! We strongly suggest using our Rapid Ad website for sending electronic files. E-Mailing of ads or art can cause corruption of files and is not a reliable transfer medium. Be aware that art and logos downloaded from web sites are usually very LOW resolution and reproduce poorly in print since they have been optimized for the Internet and NOT for print reproduction. We DO NOT recommend it and in the majority of cases CANNOT use it. PDF Files need to have Font Inclusion on and full color art needs to be in CMYK format BEFORE the PDF is created. RGB images will render the PDF useless. All color art needs to be in process color, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. RGB color will be changed to CMYK. Some color shift may occur when this is done. We CAN NOT reproduce PMS color

This site was designed for the convenience of our advertisers. Please visit this site FIRST to ensure that the software programs, the file format and fonts that will be used in your ad meet our file criteria.
